  10. In the article, "Why Sisterly Chats Make People Happier", written by Deborah Tannen, she explains that having a sister simply makes one happier. This is because women are more likely to talk about their feelings and emotions with each other. It's not that brotherly chats don't make them happy, they are just different. An example used in the article was about a man coming home from a day with his buddy. His wife asked him how his friend was dealing with the divorce and he replied, " I don't know, we didn't talk about it." Although talking about it isn't the only way to make one feel better. Just by being with them they feel better. Men and women don't respond to emotion in the same way.

  11. I enjoyed Odalix's article as well. I don't think it is right to sue a 4 year old. They are still learning and it was an accident. That was ridiculous!

  12. In the article "4-Year Old Can Be Sued, Judge Rules In Bike Case", by Alan Feuer, an elderly woman is struck by a four year old racing her bicycle with a friend on a bike that had training wheels. The four year old's lawyer doesn't believe she should be held responsible for her actions because she is believed to be incapable of negligence. The judge however believes other wise and says she should have known better. The elderly woman died three months later of causes that weren't related to this incident. Although the young girl is not going to be punished, the elderly woman's estate has filed a law suit against the four year old and her mother.
-I don't think it's that serious. The woman could've moved out of the way or yelled to distract them. I don't think it was intentional.

He was hoping Mondo would win the show, and states that at the end, the judges seemed like they decided for him to be the winner. However, all the sudden the judges crown Gretchen as the winner, and judge Michael Kors was very pleased, but Heidi Klum was originally on Mondo's side. It was a shocking ending, but what's done is done. Congratulations Gretchen!

  14. @ Joyce.. That is horrible! Why would an old woman want to punish a poor 4 year old who was just riding their bike?! That poor girl probably doesn't even know what the word 'sue' means and now her parents have to deal with that. That sucks... especially since the old lady died anyway.. They should let it go

Lawyers accused the four year old as being almost five therfore being liable to be sued. The young girls lawyer pleaded not guilty on the basis that she had supervision and that according to law she was incapable because she was still a child.
